One of favorite author's so why would I tear up a 1955 copy Franny and Zooey. Seriously, I found my copy sitting tucked away with all the other books. I open it up and there was a 2 x 3 rectangle cut into the first 50 pages!!! I do the most impulsive things sometimes... This was a bad decision that I cannot take back! I know it was an intended craft project but it's sooo sacrilege of me to destroy a Salinger of all books. Franny and Zooey no less! I have friends that would kick me in the head for this. Bad Liz...very bad Liz.

The end to another year!

Shit balls. Time really goes by fast. This is the fastest year in record Liz history! I fear it will only go faster! I am getting old!!! Ok seriously, my dramatics are done. I want to send off this year well on its way! The hell with you 2009! Welcome 2010! I think 2010 sounds so epic! I hope it's as epic as the movie and in a good way.
Instead of going on about all the things that went kind of wrong in my life... how bout all the things that are kind of good that happened. I had a creative surge this year that really got me serious about making my little crafty creations and actually making money on them. It's really not about making money that made me happy-it was the feeling that people actually wanted to give my stuffed critters as presents for family and friends! That's a pretty awesome feeling! If I could make a child smile thru giving them a little LIZLING plush. Awesome! I am as passionate as ever about making art whether it's a crafty mix cd, plush, painting, drawing or whatever I feel like doing. Art runs thru my bloodlines. Let's see...I got great friends. They really get you thru the tough times I wouldn't trade each and anyone of them for anything else. I really want to make an effort to be a better friend this year. Friendship is important and it's so easy to get caught up in our personal lives. Not only that, to me friendship is as important as family since I got a real small family to begin with. I also got Crazy loving parents however I do stress crazy! I found out that I have a half brother and sister!!! I find this out 30 yrs into my life! It's an odd feeling and I do wish I had known a hair sooner but maybe this was the right time for me to know such things. I am soo happy to know this now.
I went to Japan- which is pretty much the place I have always wanted to go to. I still wanna go back one day and I hope I do. It would be really great to see outside the city and more rural regions of Japan. However I still got this massive list of places I need to see before I kick the bucket. I went to Vermont! It may not compare to Japan or a European vacation but it was pretty good. Nothing really beats getting into a car with a damn good friend and hitting the road for a few good hours. Seriously some of the best times had are driving to destinations... I guess that's like that quote that's from somewhere about it's not the destination but the journey that is important in life... or something like that. That might round off all that I feel like sharing for now on here. Ofcourse there are some things that I wished didn't happen the way they did but maybe a brighter reason will shine thru in the year to come. I have no hard feelings and I want to extinguish any bad feelings or negative thoughts that linger on in my brain. All things happen whatever way they are going to happen and I have to choose to take everything as it comes and graceful as possible. Cheestastic! Well thanks for reading whoever reads this!! Oh I also forgot to mention how awesome it was this year to be inches away from COLIN MELOY from the DECEMBERISTS! The making eye contact thing was excellent and his shoe being inches from my nose... I hope 2010 brings another enjoyable Decemberist concert!

This was a picture taken at lunch. Kelly was making her sandwich and just happened to pour her mustard on it and was taken by surprise that it was shaped like a heart. I told her to take a picture of it cause it was perfect and those moments are special!

Autumn.

I have been so preoccupied with making "stuff" for my other blog that I just haven't had time for anything else! Anyway, I wanted to post some of my favorite pictures I have taken past and present around the fall season, my favorite time of year. The last one is pretty damn green but it's my favorite for some reason and it was nice chilly September day in Vermont.

Hi there to whomever stumbles upon this. I decided that I would start a separate blog for my more personal experiences instead of trying to mix it all up on my other blog little umbrella. It just feels like I can organize my thoughts better when I have one blog for strictly art and another for my antics and what nots! I will try to keep it interesting tho and not turn into a blog where I just want to blab away about my feelings hoping to god someone will read it.
